Northern Washington Babe Ruth Baseball is part of the Pacific Northwest Region of Babe Ruth Baseball. Northern Washington Babe Ruth Baseball was formed after the 1987 baseball season by the split of Washington State Babe Ruth into two new State Organizations: North and South Washington. Washington State Babe Ruth had become too large, and it was decided that a split was necessary. This was the second such split to occur in the Pacific Northwest Region of Babe Ruth League; some years ago Oregon had been split into the North and South.
